Anita Barone

Barone played Gail Cunningham (a chef) in The Shoes of Seinfeld, the episode from season 4. Barone was looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. The early 90s saw Barone was a regular on Carol & Company as a co-star with Carol Burnett. Barone had played the role of her husband, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends her first appearance. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends in pursuit of a new role that demanded more time. She had a role on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 to 1996 and The War at Home 2005-2007. Barone has also been a guest on Daddio, a sitcom that was aired from 2000. Barone is also known for her television roles in Desperate Housewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Her work in the film One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. The following year, three years following the time that The War at Home ended it's running time, Barone began her recurring role on the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave, guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
