Jennifer Garner, who was born and raised in Charleston West Virginia, on April 17, 1973 was born in Houston, Texas. Her dad, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer for Union Carbide. Patricia Ann was a teacher at the local university. To follow her father, she graduated with a chemical engineering degree. But because she wanted to fulfill her ambition of becoming an actress, she moved in New York to try her chance in the movie industry.
